Adam and Eve Pub – Norwich
When you ask someone where the oldest pub in Norfolk is, the name on many lips will be this one. The Adam and Eve dates back to the 13th Century and has been welcoming customers through its inviting doors for over 700 years.
The Kings Head – Bawburgh
This traditional and quaint village pub opened in the 17th Century and you can find a roaring log fire, exposed wooden beams to accompany its AA rosettes in culinary excellence.
Green Dragon – Wymondham
Have you ever wanted to go back in time to find out what drinking in a medieval tavern was really like? Then look no further than the Green Dragon which serves locally sourced food and interior that represents it’s rich historical roots in this market town which dates back to the 14th Century.
The Wig and Pen – Norwich
One of the ten oldest pubs in Norfolk is also famed for it’s beers, large seating area and Norfolk ale battered cod, and also makes a very good steak and ale pie, we will have chips with ours please!
Feathers Hotel – Holt
Large open brick fireplaces. Victorian inspired designed rooms. This is one 17th Century pub that acknowledges its traditional heritage and fuses it with a modern and stylish twist.
The Bowling Green Inn – Wells Next To Sea
This is the oldest pub in Wells and can be traced back to around 1673. It is a family friendly pub where you can go and enjoy a pint and a pub grub feast with a warm welcome.
The Blue Boar Inn – Great Ryburgh
With some stunning period features that show it’s 17th Century personality off in all it’s glory as well as a beer garden and wood burn fire, this is one of the oldest pubs in Norfolk that has fully embraced and is proud of its history.
The Roses and Crown – Snettisham
This is a traditional British pub dating back to the 14th Century, it has a number of period features as well as the wonky wooden beams you have come to expect from a local Norfolk pub.
The Ship Inn – Mundesley
This pub is over 300 years old and is famed for its locally sourced food, and with the stunning Norfolk coastline just outside its doors it truly is one of the gems of the Norfolk coastline.
The Swann Inn – Norwich
With its rustic charm and in the perfect location along the Norfolk Broads you can see why this pub is one of the oldest in Norfolk dating back to 1696 and serving seasonal food and ales.
