Combining a work trip with sightseeing and tourist attractions
Because you will be so well taken care of, we hope that you will find some time to explore all that this fine county and the city of Norwich has to offer. From Wymondham, head out to Snetterton race track, take a tour of Carrow Road football stadium, or head into Norwich and have a meal at Norwich Market, or visit The Forum, where you can have coffee in this Norman Foster designed building. If you are an art lover then visit The Sainsbury Centre, or stroll around Norwich Cathedral, if you haven’t ever been, it really is worth a visit.
If you have time, then venture further afield, either to one of the RSPB’s several nature reserves in the county, the nearest to Wymondham being Strumpshaw Fen to the east. While over this way, you could head on over to Great Yarmouth for a breath of sea air.
So much history to absorb
There are several important historical buildings that you can visit, including Blickling Hall, Oxburgh Hall and Castle Acre Priory and Castle but you may just prefer to attend a whiskey tasting evening or a sample some ales from one of the many micro-breweries in the region, you won’t find a better way to relax!Head further north to visit the Muckleburgh military collection, the largest private collection of WWI and WWI memorabilia near Weybourne.
With its selection of modern shopping, lovely pubs, wonderful food, interactive tourist attractions, and historical sites, you’ll be back, we know you will.
