Visitor Centre
When you arrive you will be greeted by the visitor centre at the heart of Sandringham Estate.
Begin your day our at Sandringham House by stopping off for some refreshments in the restaurant which serves hot and cold drinks, two course meals and afternoon tea! Spend some time dining like a royal before you continue your day out at Sandringham House.
Sandringham Grounds
The grounds to the house are open to public all year round. Now you have refuelled you can begin by exploring these stunning gardens. With the royal residence in focus you will have the chance to see the beautiful flora on offer and the meticulously maintained gardens. The Royal Flower Show is also held here annually.
If you are feeling adventures and want to head to the outskirts of the estate you will find a hidden gem in the form of The Church of St Mary Magdalene, this is the church the royal family visit at Christmas each year.
Museum
Once you have entered the grounds you are able to visit Sandringham Museum for free. If you like your royal history then this is a must see for you on your day out at Sandringham House. From royal cars, carriages and presents as well as lots of family photos you will really get a feel for the deep history of the royal family on your day out at Sandringham House. Don’t forget to stop off and the tea room next door!
Sandringham House
The house has been in the royal family since 1862 and has housed four generations of royals. You do have to pay additional to get into the house, but it is a one of a kind experience to see where the Queen and her family spend Christmas and the grandeur of the royal residence! It is a must see on your day out at Sandringham House.
Gift Shop
As your day out at Sandringham House comes to a close, pick up a memento of the day at the gift shop or plant centre so you can tell all of your friends you have been to the Queen’s House!
