Beach Life
There is only one place to start on your day out at Cromer Beach and that is on the beach itself! Grab the towels, pack a picnic and don’t forget your bucket and spade. With a mixture of sand and shingle the beach is unrivalled as one of the best in Norfolk. With a number of seafront kiosks you can get that all important ice cream from!
Amazona Zoo
When then British weather makes it’s predictable turn you don’t have to stop your day out at Cromer Beach just yet.
If you have a taste for something a bit more adventurous head to Amazona Zoo.
With over 200 animals from South America such as jaguars, monkeys, flamingos in a secluded setting you will find it hard to believe you are still on a day out at Cromer Beach!
The zoo has everything to keep all members of the family happy with indoor and outdoor play areas as well.
Cromer Pier
Once you have got up close and personal with the more tropical members of Cromer, you can move on to a more traditional part on your day out at Cromer Beach; the pier.
Begin by walking down the famous landmark and visiting the RNLI Lifeboat Station (read our blog here) at the end of the pier and learn about the boats, crew and station and the invaluable job that they do.
Don’t forget to grab your bucket and net and try your hand at catching one of the world famous Cromer Crabs from the pier on your day out at Cromer Beach. Or if you just prefer to eat them there are a number of restaurants along the pier than serve some delicious sea food.
As your day out at Cromer Beach comes to an end, grab an ice cream and watch the sun set over the sea from the pier.
